Why keep a campaign log

An account’s results change because of what you did in it, what competitors did and what the calendar did. If you don’t write down what changed and when, explaining Tuesday’s drop becomes guesswork. With the log, you open that day and see it: the budget went up, the creative changed, the page went down.

How the A/B test winner is picked

For conversion rate and CTR, the tool compares the top two variants with a two-proportion test and shows the confidence. Above 95%, we call it a winner. Between 80% and 95%, it’s leaning toward that variant. Below that, there’s no clear difference. For cost per conversion, ROAS and cost per click there’s no simple test: the tool ranks by the metric and shows the conversion rate confidence as a reference.

In Meta, “Results” counts the event of the campaign objective, which can be a purchase, a lead or something else. Only compare variants with the same objective. Meta’s native A/B test and Google Ads experiments use their own methodology. Here the math uses the numbers in the export, so you can keep the result and the decision in one place.

What gets saved

Only the summary of each variant (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and revenue) and what you wrote. The export file is read in your browser and never uploaded. The Free plan holds 3 tests and 30 log entries; on Pro, 1,000 tests and 5,000 entries. See the plans.
